We Will Never Forget

With heavy hearts and loving memories, we offer our deepest condolences to the families and friends of our fallen brothers and sisters. This profession is not an easy or safe one—on average, 100 firefighters are lost every year through various incidents.  Until recently, the South Metro Fire District had been fortunate to not experience this loss firsthand.  But sadly, that is no longer the case, and we have lost some of our dear brothers and sisters. Although we recognize all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, this page is dedicated specifically to the SMFPD brothers and sisters who have gone before us.

May you rest in peace. We have it from here
